NANJING SHUANGWEI 1993-2020
1993
Signed a cooperation agreement with Nanjing Red Cross Blood Center to jointly develop RBC type WBC-filter transfusion apparatus.
1994
WBC-filter transfusion apparatus was awarded the national invention patent.
1997
The first company in China to obtain the WBC filter registration certificate, filling the gap in domestic markets.
1999
Published papers in internationally famous journal VOX SANGUINIS.
2002
Passed the EU ISO9001 / ISO13485 (CE) quality system certification.
2003
Granted the self-operation import and export qualification，and exported the first batch of WBC filter transfusion sets.
2004
The project “Glass micro-fiber filter leukocyte transfusion technology and industrialization" won the first prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of China Building Materials Association and China Silicate Society.
2005
Nanjing Shuangwei WBC filter transfusion sets were listed in the export list of China's high-tech products.
2008
Independently researched and developed Pathogen Inactivation System for Plasma and inactivation cabinets entered into clinical validation.
2010
Invested 1.56 million US dollars to build the production line of annual production of 1 million sets of high-performance white blood cell filters.
2014
"Nanjing Engineering Research Center for Blood Purification Medical Device Products” was formally established in the company.
2015
Gained the domestic category III medical device registration certificate of Negative Pressure Wound Therapy Kit and Pathogen Inactivation System for Plasma.
2016
Approved to set up a graduate workstation.
2019
Signed a contract to industrialize inactivate new blood pathogens with the Institute of Blood Transfusion （Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences）
2020
Relocated to a new industrial park in Nanjing Biotech and Pharmaceutical Valley (BPV).
Our Factory
The factory is located at No. 123, Hua Kang Road, Jiangbei New Area, Nanjing, China and has a covering area of 27000 square meters; Shuangwei owns a ten thousand level laboratory and clean room established in accordance with the Production Quality Management Regulation for Medical Devices. The annual output is around to be 10 million sets. Besides, Nanjing Shuangwei possesses 96 cubic meters of advanced EO sterilization cabinet and 20 cubic meters of steam sterilization cabinet.
